Millennium Hotels’ Aptitude & Personality Tests
Psychometric tests help streamline the hiring process. They help pinpoint the best candidates by evaluating skills that predict success. In the hospitality industry, there are several tests that are common. If you are asked to take any assessments, it will most likely be one or a combination of these.
Verbal Reasoning Test – You will be given short massages to read, followed by true or false or multiple-choice questions. This tests your ability to read and understand information. You will have a time limit
Logical Reasoning Test– This will be a challenge of your abstract thinking and problem-solving abilities. The questions will be a series of shapes that change according to a pattern. You will need to determine the sequence and find the missing piece. The test is timed and multiple-choice.
Situational Judgment Test (SJT) – You will be given different difficult situations that can occur on the job. You will need to determine the best course of action from the list of choices you are given.
Personality Survey – Personality tests are given to see how well you will fit into the corporate culture, and perform the job you want. A profile will be generated based on your answers. This will be compared to the traits that are best suited to the job.
